This is the second installment in the ‘Power On Your Plate’ series of presentations. This presentation will focus on the environment and ethics in relation to our food choices. We will examine how different foods impact our planet and discuss how certain dietary choices can lead to greater sustainability. When looking at ethics, I will highlight the effect that a plant-based diet has on other humans, our society, as well as all sentient beings. An overall aim will be to ‘connect the dots’ on how simple decisions surrounding what we eat could make considerable changes in our world.
