Now Zurich based, Biljana Kennaway holds BSc in Physiotherapy and is recognised practitioner in the UK and Switzerland. She is a Master Trainer at APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) and has presented many courses as well as spoke at the international conferences. Before specialising in women’s health (pelvic health) Biljana mainly worked within musculoskeletal teams of Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Queen Mary’s and Imperial College Hospitals in London. Additionally, she worked in a research team in Imperial College on a rehab study following spinal decompression. Her passion for research and science continues and has been brought to Geneva, Switzerland in 2009 where she worked as a physio and a Pilates therapy instructor founding BK Pilates Therapy. She combines her clinical expertise in treating spinal and pelvic pathologies and is passionate about preventing and treating incontinence in fit mums training for competitions as well as the later changes. Since 2016, her physio practice has moved to Zurich and apart from her physio and Pilates caseload she teaches postgraduate physiotherapy and Pilates courses internationally and at the Hate Ecole de Sante, Geneva. A mum of 2 very fit and scrumptious children enhanced her already very busy life.
